There has been much debate about the title for UFC on ABC female champion flyweight. It seems likely that the fights ahead will decide the winner, with many talented women in octagon. What will it take to make the cut? Jessica Penne, Claudia Gadelha, Araya Sage Gomez, Michelle Waterson, and others? Read on to learn more. This article will give you some details about these women, as well as the possible opponents that may be next for them.
Claudia Gadelha
After back-to-back losses, Claudia Gadelha has now reached an agreement with Michelle Waterson to fight in a main event at UFC 233. The bout will take places in New York City on May 10. Waterson's third UFC main event will be the first. Waterson will also be the UFC's first Black woman to host the main event. Hill and Waterson were reunited at Invicta FC in May.
The ringside judges disagree on Hill's superiority over Waterson. Currently, Hill has a two-inch reach advantage and is considered the better striker. Waterson is less likely to fight in the pocket but is still more likely stand and trade. Hill is likely to win the fight if Hill wins. Waterson's record, however, is impressive. Waterson's record is impressive, though. She has won nine fights via submission in her last ten fights and averages 1.68 knockouts per round.

Jessica Penne
Mixed martial arts fans are excited to see the rematch between Michelle Waterson (former UFC women's champ) and Jessica Penne (aspiring star). While Penne called Waterson's win over her last month a "fluke," the Canadian veteran said she would be happy to fight her again. Waterson says that Waterson's win over Penne was not a fluke. She wants to prove it.
Earlier this year, Penne fought in an MMA event and lost to Jessica Andrade via TKO in the second round. In the same year, she fought Danielle Taylor at featherweight and lost unanimously. In her next bout, Penne will defend her Invicta FC strawweight title against the Invicta FC strawweight champion Emily Ducote.
Araya Sage Gomez
Michelle Waterson's next fight will be with Araya Sage Gomez. They met at a Hooters Albuquerque in New Mexico when Gomez and his parents drove from El Paso to attend a Cowboys game. Gomez was accompanied by his parents, who sat beneath a large poster featuring Waterson in a Hooters outfit. Gomez revealed to his mother that he was going to marry her when he saw her. They laughed as she took their orders, and looked on. Gomez’s parents were reticent to approach her. They never spoke to her.
Michelle Waterson
Michelle Waterson was a former ring-girl and made a big splash on MTV/MTV2's reality show Bully Beatdown. She also has some interesting career paths. She was unsuccessfully qualified for the MTV reality contest "American Ninja Warrior." Waterson took part in a stunt contest for Natalie Portman’s 2014 film "Thor". After a few short months, Waterson transitioned to MMA. Invicta FC Atomweight was her championship. Waterson submitted Tyra Park with a rear-naked choke submission during her first professional fight. She also participated in "Fight Mom", a reality TV show, and fought in the mini-series "Champions vs. Stars".

Waterson, 36 has an 18-9-0 record. Three of her victories were by knockout while nine others were via submission. She has fought professionally in 27 MMA bouts. Her most recent fight, which took place in July of 2015, ended in a controversial decision for Waterson against Marina Rodriguez. She is based in Albuquerque, New Mexico and trains at Jackson-Wink MMA.
