Diana Taurasi's WNBA career was on pause after she was injured on Thursday night. While playing against the Sun for just 11 minutes, she suffered a right leg strain. The injury required her to miss all of the remaining game. She was also ruled out for the rest of the season.
Brian Agler
Bryan Agler, Dallas Wings head coach, was terminated by the team on Wednesday. Agler was in Dallas for two seasons but the COVID-19 pandemic cut his time short. Agler finished the season with an 8-14 record, but he did not make it to the playoffs.
Pokey Chatman
Pokey Chatman has extensive experience coaching, including the Chicago Sky and Indiana Fever. He coached Chicago Sky from 2014 to the WNBA Finals. He has previously been an assistant coach with the Seattle Storm. Another coach with WNBA experience is Katie Smith, who was the head coach of the New York Liberty in 2018-19 and is currently an assistant coach for the Minnesota Lynx. Chatman previously coached the Indiana Fever basketball team before joining the Dallas Wings.

Katie Smith is one of the most beloved female athletes in sports. She is a twotime WNBA champion as well as a three-time Olympian. She is also only player to have won championships both in the WNBA & ABL. Smith, Tina Thompson, and Smith will be inducted together into the WNBA Hall of Fame. Smith is one the most prolific scorers of the league's history.

Deanna Nolan serves as a point guard with the Dallas Wings. Flint, Mich. native, Deanna Nolan, 25, is a Dallas Wings point guard. She was also named to five All-Star squads.
