It was founded by Janet Martin and Shannon Knapp in 2012 and is owned by Canadian company Anthem Sports & Entertainment. The organization has been very successful in recent years and recently moved to a new arena. In 2013, the T-Mobile Arena was added as a second venue to their program.
Veronica Rothenhausler
Veronica Rothenhausler has a long history of impressive amateur results. The California native is an Olympic Gold Medalist and recently relocated to Sacramento to train under Urijah Faber and Joseph Benavidez. She's been training with some the most respected MMA trainers worldwide and will be making her professional debut against Katalina Mallungahu. Rothenhausler went undefeated during amateur competition, before she was hit with two concussions. She won a victory over UFC fighter Ashlee Jones Smith and hopes to make her dream come to fruition.
Tara La Rosa
Tara LaRosa, a woman's MMA champion in the past, has been a top contender. After her victory over Kelly Warren, she moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. LaRosa has been accepted into the all-female Invicta Fighting Championships. The championships stream live on the Internet.
Michelle Waterson
Michelle Waterson, mother of two young children, returned to mixed-martial arts in 2012 as a returning competitor. She first competed in MMA in 2007, and since then, has become one of the top women in the sport. She won the Invicta Fighting Championships Atomweight title in 2013. She says she owes her success to her motherhood. After all, it's not everyday that a woman wins a UFC title!
Ashley Cummins
Ashley Cummins from America is a mixed martial artist. Invicta FC currently has her signed. Cummins was ranked the number 1 contender in the Atomweight Division by the Ultimate Fighter rankings. Her mixed martial arts career is filled with high-level victories and has seen her rise to the UFC's forefront. Cummins takes on Kelvin Gastelum at the Atomweight level.
