The United States women's national soccer team is one among the most successful in international womens soccer. They've won four Women's World Cups titles, four Olympic golds medals, nine CONCACAF Gold Cups, and four Women's World Cups. Morgan, Lloyd, Alyssa and Tobin heath are all part of this elite roster.

Injury has forced Alex Morgan to withdraw from two friendlies against England, Spain and Spain. Vlatko Butonovski has released the USWNT's 24-player roster to play in the international matches. Alyssa Thompson

Alyssa has the potential to be one of America's top young players. She is a skilled player with the technical ability and speed to outpace defenders in one-on-1 duels. Tracey Kelly, the US women’s national team's coach, was able to recognize her talent. Kevins recalled Thompson, 13 years ago, while she was scouting a club near Los Angeles. She saw a forward who was both "brave and resilient" on the field during that game. Thompson is currently a member on the US women’s national team.


Tobin Heath

Tobin heath, a forward has been recently selected to the US women’s football team roster. She is an outstanding player who has represented the North Carolina Tar Heels as well as the United States national soccer team. United States Soccer Federation calls Heath "perhaps the USA’s most talented player". US Soccer named her Athlete for the Year in 2016.

Hope Solo

Hope Solo is a controversial figure in women's soccer, with a complex legacy. She is considered one of America's greatest goalkeepers. Solo has played in 202 games for the U.S. and holds a record with 152 clean sheets. Solo is also known for her outspoken opinions and controversial character, which has made her one of the most talked about figures in the sport.

Tobin Naeher

The United States women's soccer team is in the final stages of their World Cup qualification campaign. Tobin Naeher was a surprise selection, but she has since proven to be a valuable member of the roster. She played every minute of the match and made four saves against France in the 2-1 win. Naeher also stopped Steph Houghton from trying to make a penalty kick save in semifinals.

Tiffany McLeod

Canadian players accused Christiana Pedersen (referee) of bias following a recent controversy in the US women’s soccer match against Canada. Pedersen gave a penalty to the United States for holding the ball within the penalty area in the 80th minute. Pedersen was also a former World Cup referee.

Megan Rapinoe

Megan Rapinoe was a consistent presence on the United States women’s team for more a decade. The forward is a formidable player on and off of the field. She was born in Redding and grew up playing volleyball with her older brother, twin sister, and younger brother. Rapinoe, who scored two goals for the United States at the 2012 World Cup, and another one in 2015, has been a huge success in recent times.
