
The Women's National Basketball Association has many records that you may have heard of if you are a fan of basketball. There are several records held at the league by women including Sabrina Ionescu’s three-double, Sue Bird’s double–double record, Liz Cambage’s scoring record, as well as Liz Cambage’s scoring mark. Candice Parker can also be found in the career statistics.
Sabrina Ionescu's triple double
Sabrina Ionescu is the only woman to have a career triple-double record. As a college athlete, she averaged 17.2 minutes, 7.5 boards, and 6.25 assists. She won this record in midway through her third season, after only playing three games as a rookie because of an ankle injury.
Ionescu's first-half performance was slightly below her triple double mark. Her second half performance was great. The New York Liberty improved their record to 9-12 with her 24 points and eight rebound assists. They are now within half a game in the playoffs.

Sue Bird's double double
Sue Bird, Seattle Storm Guard, established the WNBA record of career assists with 2,600. Bird's Friday night double-double against Las Vegas Aces was one in league history. Ticha Penicheiro was the previous holder of the record. Bird, a 30-year veteran, passed her with a transition 3-pointer. The Seattle Storm led by eight points with 1:50 remaining, and Bird broke her own record with a 3-pointer assisted by her teammate, Breanna Stewart.
Sue Bird's basketball legacy is second only Kareem AbdulJabbar's. In two decades, she played with the Seattle Storm, won four championships and 13 All-Star games, and is the only WNBA player to reach 500 career games. Bird won five consecutive Olympic golds medals. She was also the league's leading scorer, assist maker and all-time leader.
Liz Cambage's scoring record
Liz Cambage has become one of the best centers in the WNBA. She ranks second in league points, rebounds, blocks, and per-game. She currently plays for Dallas Wings. The Wings have won six out of seven of their last seven games. Today's Dallas Wings game saw her surround by thousands children as she watched.
Cambage's 53-point effort against the New York Liberty set a new WNBA scoring record. She shot seventy-three percent from the field and made 15 of 16 free throws, which makes her the first WNBA player to ever score that many points in a single game. She also pulled down 10 rebounds and made five blocks in this game. Cambage is having a phenomenal season and this record is amazing.

Candice Parker's career stats
Candice Parker is a professional player of basketball. She is a member of the Chicago Sky in the Women's National Basketball Association. She was the first overall pick in 2008 WNBA draft. Her basketball career began with the Los Angeles Sparks. She has since played for numerous WNBA teams including the Chicago Sky.
Parker's impressive career stats are well documented. She was drafted into WNBA as a player in the 2008 U.S Olympic Games in Beijing. In her first game, she scored 34 points.
