The Women's National Basketball Association All-Star Game, an annual exhibition basketball game featuring the best players from the Western and Eastern Conferences, is held every year. Sylvia Fowles
Sylvia Fowles was named an honorary selection for the WNBA All Star Game. Her final season in the league is underway and she is averaging 14.9 point, 9.2 rebound, 1.2 steals and 1.2 blocks per match. Her team is the Minnesota Lynx and are currently on the road to the playoffs, with a record of 8-15.
Fowles (a former LSU star) dunk during a second quarter breakaway opportunity. Fowles managed to force Team Stewart's player for a turnover. She then stole Team Stewart's ball and slammed the ball in. Team Wilson won the game with seven points and nine boards.
Sue Bird
Sue Bird (a Chicago Bulls guard) has been named co-captain to the WNBA All-Stars. She is joined by Breanna Stewart and Sylvia Fowles, all of whom will play in their final WNBA seasons. The game will be held at Chicago's Wintrust Arena on Sunday, 7 July 2010. It will be televised on ABC.

Sue Bird was chosen to participate in the eighth All-Star Game. Sylvia Fowles participated in the 13th All-Star Game. During the first half of the game, Fowles got the crowd going with her breakaway dunk. Sue Bird, Fowles and a standing ovation were given to them after the game.
Arike Olubowale
Arike Ogunbowale, a two-time NCAA champion, has earned her first WNBA All-Star selection. Last season she was the league’s leading scorer. She is now eighth in the Dallas Wings' points per game. She is expected to play an important role in Team USA's preparations at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Chicago will host WNBA All-Star Game from July 9-10. The Saturday night event has special events added by the WNBA. This includes a skills competition, and a three person contest. Ogunbowale wants to be a part in the next All-Star game. Team USA won the previous All-Star match.
Kelsey Plum
Kelsey Plum was the Aces' first WNBA All Star Game guard. She scored 30 points in defeat to Team Stewart. Despite her diminutive stature, Plum was crowned the WNBA All Star Game MVP. Plum's MVP trophy was however dwarfed by Kobe Bryant's All Star MVP trophy. Cathy Engelbert, WNBA commissioner brought some humor to this event and presented Plum a new trophy at the end of the game.
Plum claimed she was trying to win the MVP award. During the game, she made 12 field goals and took 18 shots, setting an All-Star record. At the moment she averages 19.9 per game. She is not only participating in the WNBA All Star Game but also represents the United States in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics 3x3 basketball competition.

Arike Ogunbowale won the MVP award
Arike Ogunbowale was the MVP of the WNBA all-star game. The Dallas guard played college basketball at Notre Dame. She was the fifth overall pick in the WNBA draft. Vanessa Bryant was her mother and a huge fan of the player. Her family voted for her, so the award is an extra special one for her.
The 2021 WNBA WNBA All-Star game witnessed many changes, but it is still an all-star tournament. Ogunbowale, who beat Team USA in the matchup 93-85, was the lone WNBA participant to win MVP honors. Ogunbowale also has the chance to do the same feat again in two years since she was named a reserve for the 2022 WNBA all-star game. The game will be televised live on ABC from Chicago.
