CME increases its sponsorship of LPGA

CME has sponsored LPGA tournaments in the past. CME Group Titleholders was sponsored by the company, and Shanshan Feng won it. The LPGA sponsoring agreement with the company dates back nearly 20 years. The company has been a prominent sponsor of the LPGA for almost 20 years and is currently looking to expand.

Race to CME Globe

CME Group Tour Championship's name will be changed this week. It will now go by the Race to the CME Globe Championship. The $2.5 Million prize pool is for the first place. Chicago-based CME Group sponsored the event up to 2023.

Tiburon Golf Club

The Tiburon Club is the perfect place to watch professional golf tournaments. In 2022 the tournament will be played on the Tiburon Golf Club Gold Course. The CME Group Tour Championship is the season-ending event for the LPGA Tour and is one of the premier events on the women's professional golf tour. This event will be televised live by NBC Sunday and Golf Channel.

The reigning Rolex World Rankings No. 1 Jin Young Ko has won six of her last 11 LPGA starts. In the first half of the season, Jin Young Ko struggled with injury and travel issues. She also lost her grandmother in March, which affected her game. Despite this, her consistency is remarkable. She has nine top-10 finishes in 10 starts, with five victories in second half.


Yuka Saso

Yuka Saso tied for 29th in the 2021 LPGA CME Group Tour Championship with a 1-over-73. Saso had a strong first round but struggled with the tricky conditions.

Natalie Gulbis

CME Group Tour Championships isn't just for professionals. It's also a great opportunity for women who are just starting out in the LPGA. In 2015, Gulbis was invited to participate as part of a pro-am event and was rewarded for her efforts. In return, she was invited by CME Group Tour Championship to compete. Gulbis' contributions to the creation of the event were acknowledged with an invitation.
