Bryan Agler, Dallas Wings head coach, was terminated by the team on Wednesday. Agler was only in Dallas for the second season, but the COVID-19 flu pandemic forced him to leave. He finished the season with an 8-14 record and failed to make the playoffs.

Pokey Chatman

Pokey chatman has extensive coaching experience. He was most notable with the Chicago Sky, Indiana Fever. He also coached the Chicago Sky to the WNBA Finals in 2014. He has previously been an assistant coach with the Seattle Storm. Another coach with WNBA experience is Katie Smith, who was the head coach of the New York Liberty in 2018-19 and is currently an assistant coach for the Minnesota Lynx. Chatman was a coach for the Indiana Fever during the NBA before joining Dallas Wings.

Katie Smith is the most beloved female athlete in sports. She is a twotime WNBA champion as well as a three-time Olympian. She is also one of only two players to have won championships in ABL and WNBA. Smith, Tina Thompson, will be inducted this year into the WNBA Hall of Fame. Smith is one among the league's greatest scorers.
