Claudia Gadelha

Michelle Waterson and Claudia Gadelha, who suffered back-toback defeats, have now agreed on a main card matchup at UFC 233. The fight will be held in New York City on Sunday, June 10. Waterson's third UFC main event will be the first. Waterson is also the UFC's first Black female fighter. Waterson and Hill met in May at Invicta FC.

The ringside judges are divided on whether Hill is better than Waterson. Hill currently has a two inch reach advantage and is the better striker. Waterson is also more likely to stand and trade in the pocket, but hasn't fought in five years. Hill might win and will fight to the finish if Hill loses. Waterson's record however is remarkable. Waterson has won nine her 10 last fights by submission. On average, she gets 1.68 takedowns per rounds.

Jessica Penne

For fans of mixed martial arts, a rematch between Michelle Waterson, a former UFC women’s champ and Jessica Penne is highly anticipated. While Penne called Waterson's win over her last month a "fluke," the Canadian veteran said she would be happy to fight her again. According to Waterson, the win was no fluke, and she wants to prove that it wasn't.

Penne lost by TKO to Jessica Andrade in round two of an MMA fight earlier in the year. The next year she faced Danielle Taylor in a featherweight tourney and was defeated unanimously. Invicta FC strawweight champion Emily Ducote will challenge Penne in her next fight.
