Hope Solo is the U.S. Women's Soccer goalie. She says she made a terrible choice when she hopped in a team van with Jerramy Stephens during training camp. Stevens was taken into custody for driving under the effects. Solo was also suspended for a month. It happened less than a week following her dismissal of domestic violence charges.

Hope Solo

Hope Solo, us women's soccer goalkeeper, was born on February 25, 1982. From 2000 to 2016, Solo played for the United States' women's national soccer squad. Solo is a twotime Olympic gold medalist as well as a World Cup winner. She is one of the best goalkeepers in history.

But her success in soccer wasn't without its difficulties. Her personal life was turbulent and she was involved into numerous fights and disputes. In 2016, she was placed on suspension for six months, and her contract was terminated. She apologized for her actions and filed a grievance, saying that she was unfairly terminated. She also disclosed that she miscarried during her twin pregnancy. She and her husband, Jerramy Stevens, welcomed twins, Lozen and Vittorio.

Briana Scurry (ex-American soccer goalkeeper) is currently an assistant coach for Washington Spirit. She was a goalkeeper for the United States women’s national soccer team, and she played during the 1995 World Cup as well as the 1996 Summer Olympics. She represented the United States at 2004 Summer Olympics.

Naeher was birthed in Bridgeport (Conn) on April 20, 1988. Naeher made her debut in the United States women’s national soccer team in December 2014. It was at the International Tournament of Brazil that Naeher made her debut. Naeher is a key player in the team’s success and has become one of the top women's goalkeepers.

Megan Rapinoe is the winner of the Golden Ball and Golden Boot for her leadership in leading the United States' victory at 2019 Women's World Cup. She is also feminist who has been fighting to equal pay and being a strong advocate for women's soccer. For the changes she's witnessed in the game, she credits her Seattle Reign coaches Lisa Harvey, and Jill Andonovski.

Rapinoe's controversial sexuality doesn't keep her from playing the sport. But, her popularity has helped her fight to equal pay for female players. She was a vocal supporter of the LGBTQ community. In fact, she was one the first white athletes in the country to kneel during the national song. This act inspired Colin Kaepernick’s protests against racism in American sport. Rapinoe was also a defendant in a lawsuit filed against the US Soccer Federation regarding gender discrimination. In 2021, the case was resolved.

Jerramy Stevens

Jerramy Stevens, a US women's soccer goalie, has been charged with assaulting Hope Solo. The two were set to get married the day before the altercation. Police reported that Stevens was arrested Monday on suspicion for fourth-degree attack. A judge however ruled that there was not enough evidence to bring charges. If they find more evidence, the prosecutors may bring charges against you later.

Hope Solo is concerned about Stevens' arrest. The U.S. women's soccer team captain and former NFL tight end reportedly made an argument with Stevens' family in 2014. Stevens was initially arrested but the charges were dropped. The couple have been married for over ten years and are expecting twins in March 2020.
