Think of a female track star. You might think of Sha'Carri or Allyson Felix. You can imagine many other track stars. Nadine Broersen, anyone? These five track stars have made their mark in history. While you might not have been aware of them, it is possible that you have heard about them. What are their commonalities? Let's find out! This is their style.

Sha'Carri Richardson

Sha'Carri Richardson (American track and field sprinter) is a talented American sprinter. She rose to stardom while a freshman at Louisiana State University, breaking the 100-meter record with a time of 10.75 seconds. Richardson is now an athlete full-time and is a role model for young girls around the world.

Allyson Felix

Allyson Felix is a former American track and field athlete who specialized in the 200-meter sprint for the first nine years of her career before shifting to the 400-meter sprint late in her career. She now holds a prominent position among the top female athletes and is an inspiration for those who are pursuing their dreams. Here are some fun facts about Felix. Robin Bone

Robin Bone turned 25 on this week, an ex-high school track star. As a teenager, she played nearly every sport under the sun, from soccer and basketball to gymnastics and track and field. Since she was 15, she has been a top competitor in the event, but had to retire due to a concussion. She decided to focus on track and joined the Darien High School track team.


Nadine Broersen

Dutch track star Nadine Brüersen is a world class high jumper and heptathlon specialist. She holds the current high jump national record. She is also the 2014 World Indoor pentathlon Champion. Broersen competes in track and field for AV Sprint, her track club in Breda. The club also hosts many of the top Dutch athletes. Broersen has been a strong role-model for young female athletes.

Lolo Jones

Lori Susan "Lolo” Jones is an American hurdler. She is a specialist in the 60-meter, 100-meter hurdles and has won three NCAA titles as well as eleven All-American honors. She is one of the most important athletes of all-time. Jones is an outstanding athlete and has a passion to run. She also enjoys watching bobsled races.

Cathrine Larsasen

Cathrine Larsasen (Norwegian pole vaulter) was born on the 5th of December 1986. She has won three consecutive national pole vault competitions and holds the record in both indoor and outdoors events. Larsasen has improved her personal record by 0.54m over the last five year. The former world indoor pole vault champion is a certified track star and has won numerous awards.
